Quick Start Checklist

Use this checklist to ensure you've completed all the essential steps to launch your Linkie page. Check off each item as you go!

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • A valid email address
  • A username idea (try to match your social media handles)
  • A profile photo ready (JPG or PNG, at least 400x400 pixels)
  • Your top 3-5 links ready to add

Account Setup

Create Your Account

  • Visit Linkie and click "Sign Up"
  • Enter your email address
  • Check your inbox for the magic link
  • Click the magic link to verify and log in

Choose Your Username

  • Think of a short, memorable username
  • Check availability (Linkie shows this in real-time)
  • Claim your username
  • Note your URL: linkie.app/yourusername

Profile Setup

Complete Your Profile

  • Add your display name (real name or brand name)
  • Write a compelling bio (80-150 characters)
  • Upload your profile picture
  • Preview and click "Continue"

Add Content

Add Your First Links

  • Click "+ Add Component"
  • Select "Link" component type
  • Add your #1 most important link first
    • Enter title (what visitors will see)
    • Enter URL (where they'll go)
    • Save
  • Add 3-5 more essential links
  • Drag and drop to organize (most important at top)
  • (Optional) Add Header components to organize into sections

Launch

Preview and Test

  • Preview your page
  • Click each link to verify they work
  • Check appearance on mobile (or resize browser)
  • Make any final adjustments

Share Your Page

  • Copy your Linkie URL from the dashboard
  • Add to Instagram bio
  • Add to TikTok bio
  • Add to Twitter/X bio
  • Add to other social media platforms
  • (Optional) Download QR code from Settings

Optional Enhancements

These aren't required to launch, but they make your page even better:

  • Add social media icons (click "Social Icons" button)
  • Choose a theme or customize colors (Appearance page)
  • Upload a background image
  • Customize button style and spacing

You're Live!

Once you've completed the checklist above, your Linkie page is ready to share with the world!

What's Next?

Regular Maintenance:

  • Update links when you have new content
  • Remove outdated or expired links
  • Keep your bio current and relevant

Monitor Performance:

  • Check Analytics weekly to see which links perform best
  • Adjust your link order based on data
  • Remove links that aren't getting clicks

  • Try other component types (Headers for organization)
  • Set up Forms to collect visitor information
  • Experiment with different themes and appearances
