Customizing Your Linkie Page Appearance

Using Pre-Made Themes

The fastest way to customize your page is by selecting a pre-made theme.

To apply a theme:

1. Go to your Linkie dashboard
2. Click on Appearance in the settings menu
3. Browse the theme gallery
4. Click on any theme to preview it
5. Click Apply to use it on your page

Themes automatically set colors, fonts, button styles, and backgrounds for you. You can still customize individual elements after applying a theme.

💡 Tip: Themes are a great starting point. Apply one, then tweak specific elements to make it uniquely yours.

Customizing Colors

You can customize three main color areas to match your brand.

Background Color

Set a solid background color for your entire page:

1. Navigate to Appearance > Background
2. Select Solid Color
3. Click the color picker or enter a hex code (e.g., #FF5733)
4. Preview changes in real-time

Text Color

Change the color of your page text:

1. Go to Appearance > Typography
2. Find the Text Color option
3. Choose your preferred color
4. Adjust heading colors separately if needed

Button Colors

Customize your link button appearance:

1. Navigate to Appearance > Buttons
2. Set Button Background Color
3. Set Button Text Color
4. Adjust Hover Color for interactive effects

Background Options

Choose from two background types to create the perfect look.

Solid Colors

Simple, clean backgrounds perfect for minimalist designs:

1. Navigate to Appearance > Background
2. Select Solid Color as your background type
3. Click the color picker or enter a hex code (e.g., #FF5733)
4. Preview changes in real-time

Background Images

Use custom images or photos from Unsplash for unique backgrounds:

1. Select Image under Background Type
2. Either:
   • Click Upload Image to use your own image (recommended size: 1080x1920px)
   • Choose Select from Unsplash to browse professional stock photos
3. Adjust overlay settings to ensure text readability:
   • Opacity: Darken or lighten the image
   • Blur: Apply a blur effect to reduce visual noise
   • Gradient Overlay: Add a gradient overlay on top of the image for better text contrast

💡 Tip: When using busy background images, enable the overlay with higher opacity or blur to keep your links and text readable.

Typography and Font Selection

Choose fonts that reflect your brand personality.

To change fonts:

1. Go to Appearance > Typography
2. Select your Heading Font from the dropdown
3. Select your Body Font for descriptions and text
4. Adjust font size using the slider

Available font styles:

• Sans-serif: Clean, modern (Inter, Roboto, Open Sans)
• Serif: Classic, elegant (Merriweather, Playfair Display)
• Display: Bold, attention-grabbing (Bebas Neue, Righteous)
• Handwriting: Personal, casual (Caveat, Dancing Script)

💡 Tip: Pair a bold heading font with a simple body font for best readability.

Button Styles and Corner Radius

Customize how your link buttons look and feel.

Button Shapes

Adjust corner radius to change button shapes:

1. Navigate to Appearance > Buttons
2. Use the Corner Radius slider
3. Values: 0px (square), 8px (rounded), 50px (pill-shaped)

Button Styles

Choose from different button style options:

• Filled: Solid background color (default)
• Outlined: Border only, transparent background
• Soft Shadow: Subtle shadow for depth
• Hard Shadow: Bold shadow for a layered look

Button Spacing

Control the space between buttons:

1. Find Button Spacing in the Buttons section
2. Adjust the slider (compact, normal, or spacious)

Layout Options

Control how content is arranged on your page.

Page Width

Choose your page width:

• Narrow: Focused, mobile-first look (max 480px)
• Medium: Balanced for all devices (max 680px)
• Wide: Maximum content area (max 800px)

Content Alignment

Align your profile and buttons:

1. Go to Appearance > Layout
2. Choose alignment: Left, Center, or Right
3. Center is recommended for most designs

Profile Picture Style

Customize your profile image appearance:

• Circle: Classic, friendly
• Square: Modern, professional
• Rounded Square: Balanced middle ground

Preview and Publish

Always preview your changes before publishing:

1. Use the Preview button to see your page as visitors will
2. Test on both mobile and desktop views
3. Click Publish Changes when satisfied
