What Is Component Scheduling?
Component scheduling is a Pro feature that lets you automatically show or hide components based on date and time. Instead of manually adding and removing components, you set when they should appear and disappear—Linkie handles the rest.
⚠️ Pro Feature Required: Component scheduling is only available with a Linkie Pro subscription. Free accounts can show or hide components manually but cannot schedule automatic visibility changes.
How Scheduling Works
When you schedule a component, you can set:
- Start date/time: When the component becomes visible to visitors
- End date/time: When the component automatically hides
- Both or neither: Components can have just a start time, just an end time, or both
Server-side processing ensures accurate timing:
- Your page is generated on our servers with the current timestamp
- Components are filtered based on their schedule before the page loads
- Visitors never see components outside their scheduled window
- No delays or client-side timing issues
What You Can Schedule
All component types support scheduling:
- Links (regular and app-specific)
- Music components
- Video embeds
- Forms
- Maps and telephone links
- Headers
- Countdown timers
This universal support means you can build entirely time-sensitive pages or mix scheduled and permanent content.
Why Use Component Scheduling?
Scheduling saves time and ensures precision for time-sensitive content.
Benefits
Automation eliminates manual work:
- Set up campaigns days or weeks in advance
